School Counsellor

The New Beacon is a leading day and boarding prep school for boys aged 2-13, with a co-educational nursery, renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, sport and the arts.

The Head and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and child-centred School Counsellor to lead and deliver the School’s counselling and therapeutic provision.

This pivotal role will ensure that pupils from Year 1 to Year 8 receive high-quality clinical support through assessment, one-to-one intervention, group work and proactive pastoral engagement. Working integratively, the postholder will embed therapeutic practice within the life of the School, improve the quality and consistency of provision, and contribute meaningfully to the promotion of emotional well‑being across the whole School community.
