GSL Education Kent are working with a highly regarded all-girls secondary school to recruit an experienced English Teacher to join their successful English department on a full-time, long-term

This English Teacher role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering engaging, well-structured lessons and is confident with planning, marking, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities for English Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Prepare engaging schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with the curriculum

• Carry out marking, assessment, and feedback to support student progress

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Requirements for English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS will not be accepted

• Previous UK classroom teaching experience as an English Teacher

• Strong experience with planning and marking

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
