The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of subjects within the Design and Technology curriculum, including Food Technology, Design & Technology, and Art.
As a Teacher at Witherslack Group you will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem. The role requires resilience and dedication, and the successes you achieve are celebrated as "huge small victories" that make a real difference.

Responsibilities- Teach the curriculum for Design and Technology subjects.
- Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s, Speech, Language and Communication needs.
- Collaborate with psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals to support pupils.
- Contribute to the development of the school and its community.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in a specialist or SEND setting.
- Passion for teaching and ability to relate subjects to each pupil.
- Team‑player attitude and a "can do" mindset.
- Experience working with pupils with diverse and special educational needs.
