We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in Tonbridge from September 2026.

Job Role and Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality English lessons up to KS5
- Plan and create engaging, curriculum-led lessons
- Inspire students to develop a passion for reading, writing, and communication
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support
- Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
- Ensure safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Commitment to safeguarding and student development
- Start Date:
September 2026 - Permanent position
- £135 to £200 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
- Flexible opportunities and potential for long-term placements
- Refer-a-Friend Bonus – £125 for Qualified Teachers, £75 for Teaching Assistants/Nursery Staff
