Structural Engineer

A well-established and rapidly growing Structural Engineering consultancy based in Borough Green and operating across London, Kent, and Essex are seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team.

The company deliver innovative, technically rigorous engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects — from residential and commercial new-builds to complex industrial and infrastructure schemes. Immediate start is available.

Responsibilities as Structural Engineer:

• Assist in the analysis and design of structural elements, including beams, columns, slabs, and foundations, using relevant software tools and engineering principles.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative and cost-effective structural foundations, using relevant software tools and engineering principles.
• Provide technical support to project teams, including conducting research,
  preparing calculations, and generating engineering drawings and specifications.
• Participate in site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures, identify deficiencies, and recommend remedial actions as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of inspection reports, documenting findings, recommendations and proposed solutions.

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• A strong academic background including coursework in structural analysis, mechanics of materials and structural design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Tekla Tedds and IDEA Stati Ca.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
