Finance Assistant - FTC

Position: Finance Assistant - 6 month FTC
Finance Assistant (FTC - Maternity Cover) Aldford, Chester (Hybrid) We're looking for a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team, supporting the day-to-day running of the transactional finance function. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, credit control, invoicing, and finance administration.

Key responsibilities:

Processing purchase invoices and sales ledger transactions Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers Preparing bank reconciliations Supporting credit control activities Handling supplier and internal finance queries Assisting with audit requirements and ad hoc finance tasks Working closely with the wider finance team We're looking for:
Some previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Driver preferred due to office location, 2 days per week in the office 2 days office / 3 days home, salary £26,500 pro rata for 6 months 6 Month Fixed Term Contract with potential for extension This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a varied and supportive finance role.
