Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Darcy Brook Procurement & Supply are looking to recruit a Buyer for a manufacturing company based near Tonbridge. The successful candidates will be highly organised and demonstrate a good understanding of Excel and MRP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and expedite purchase orders accurately and efficiently

• Liaise with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, quality issues, and invoice queries.

• Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.

• Monitor supplier performance

• Initiate supplier negotiations for pricing, delivery, and service levels.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels

• Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Experience

• Experience in a purchasing role ideally within manufacturing

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

• Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to analyse data accurately

• A good level of Excel
