Tonbridge (Site Based, Multi-Site Responsibility)

Are you an experienced Estates or Facilities professional from an operational leadership background looking for the opportunity to step into a senior role within a growing educational institution, where you can lead a multi-site team and contribute to the ongoing development of a complex estates function?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to take day-to-day operational leadership of a multi-site estates team, helping shape service delivery, improve facilities performance, and support the continued growth of the College estate.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of estates and facilities operations across multiple campuses, ensuring buildings and services are maintained to a high standard. You will lead teams, manage contractors, budgets, maintenance programmes, and capital projects, while working closely with senior leadership to ensure operational excellence across the estate.

This role would suit a senior Estates or Facilities professional with experience managing operational delivery across complex environments, looking for long-term development and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

The Role:
  • Day-to-day operational management of a multi-site Estates & Facilities function
  • Oversight of maintenance, contractor management, service delivery, and facilities coordination
  • Managing budgets, KPIs, and supporting capital projects delivery
  • Leadership and development of estates teams across multiple sites
  • Site-based in Tonbridge, with travel across other College locations as required
The Person :
  • Background in Estates, Facilities, Building Services, or similar within a leadership role
  • Experience managing operational estates services across multiple sites
  • Knowledge of contractor management, maintenance, budgets, and capital projects
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Education sector estates experience desirable but not essential

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
