Workshop Technician Company Overview:

Within the WIKA Group, currently 11,200 employees are dedicated to maintain and improve technology in pressure, temperature, force and level measurement, and also in the fields of flow measurement, calibration and SF 6 gas solutions. WIKA Instruments in Sevenoaks provide pressure, temperature, level, flow, force and related calibration instruments. Our facility includes an engineering services department with repair, modification and calibration capability as well as incorporating the TC Fluid Control, level manufacturing capability and our ATEX approved electrical temperature manufacturing line.
We are now looking for an accounts payable to join our team. Your
Activities:
Prepare works orders by picking, organizing, and assembling required parts and components. Cut, strip, and prepare cables for assembly and production. Collaborate with Stores to replenish line-side stock and notify Purchasing of shortages or additional requirements. Monitor and update inventory using the ERP system to maintain a consistent production workflow. Assist with Goods-in inspection, documentation, record-keeping, and ERP updates to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Your Profile:
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with good organisational and administrative skills. Able to multitask and support multiple teams when needed. A strong communicator and team player. Comfortable using computer systems (ERP experience is an advantage). Previous experience in a workshop, assembly, or production environment. Familiarity with cable preparation or basic electrical/mechanical assembly. Understanding of stock control or ERP systems.
Knowledge of 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement environments.
