Overhead Crane Operative - Immediate Start

Location:

Lound, Retford DN22 Barker Ross are recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operative to join a busy precast concrete manufacturing site based in Lound, Retford (DN22). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with regular hours and overtime available.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Saturdays paid at time and a half (after 40 hours have been completed in the week)

Key Responsibilities:

Operating overhead cranes to safely move precast concrete products Lifting and positioning heavy materials around the production facility Supporting production and yard teams with material handling Carrying out daily crane checks and reporting any faults Ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely and in line with site procedures Requirements:
Valid overhead crane licence (in-date and accredited) Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or construction environment Strong awareness of health and safety Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to work This role is ideal for candidates with proven overhead crane experience looking for stable, long-term employment.
