Apply today to work as a Picker Packer / Packhouse / Production Operative at our client's modern fresh produce site in Paddock Wood, Kent, handling tomatoes and avocados in a clean, well-managed environment.
The site maintains a comfortable working temperature of 16-18°C, making it a pleasant place to work all year round.
The rates of pay for these roles are:
- £12.71 per hour
- £15.88 per hour overtime (after 45 hours)
Overtime is currently readily available.
Potential weekly earnings:
- 5 days: £521
- 6 days: £584
Hours of work are:
- Standard shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Busy periods: 6:00am to 4:00pm
You will work 5 out of 7 days, with flexibility required to meet business demands.
This is a long-term opportunity with guaranteed hours.
This site offers excellent internal progression opportunities. Many employees who are now working as Line Leaders, Team Leaders, Stores Operatives began in this role and progressed within the business.
Your Time at Work
As a Picker Packer/Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Picking and selecting fresh produce
- Weighing and counting items accurately
- Packing tomatoes and avocados to specification
- Sorting products and checking quality standards
- Preparing orders for dispatch

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
