Hours: 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday

About the roleMix Labs is looking for a motivated and personable Trainee Account Manager to join our team. You do not need previous sales experience—we are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.
With practical training and support from the team, you will learn how to look after wholesale customers, process orders, introduce new products and develop new business. As your confidence and knowledge grow, you will take increasing ownership of your own customer accounts.

What you’ll learn to do- Build friendly, professional relationships with wholesale customers.
- Respond to customer questions by phone and email.
- Contact prospective and existing customers to discuss products, offers and opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and ranges.
- Prepare and process customer orders accurately through our online systems.
- Keep CRM records and follow-up actions complete and up to date.
- Keep customers informed about new products, restocks and promotions.
- Follow up leads and help reactivate customers who have not ordered recently.
- Work towards clear personal and team goals.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
- Clear, confident and friendly communication skills.
- Good organisation and the ability to prioritise your work.
- Care and accuracy when entering information or processing orders.
- Basic confidence with email, online systems and everyday office software.
- Reliability, initiative and a willingness to ask questions.
- A team-focused approach and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Comfort working towards goals and receiving constructive feedback.
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or an office environment may be helpful, but it is not required. Full product and systems training will be provided.
