Cash in Transit Officer – Tonbridge
Location:
Tonbridge, TN9 1SH
• Salary: £35,766.10 per annum
• Joining bonus: £1,000 (if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence)

Shifts:
45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks) with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on a rota basis
As a Cash in Transit Officer you will help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks. The role alternates between driving and courier duties, either solo or with a partner, and includes servicing ATM machines and handling documentation.
Responsibilities- Work alone or with a partner, depending on assigned duties
- Service ATM machines by ensuring secure transportation and deployment of cash
- Follow company processes and complete all associated documentation in line with operational targets
- Drive and park company vehicles responsibly in compliance with the Highway Code, company policy, and health & safety procedures
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient service
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to address any issues within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard
- Continuous 10‑year employment and education history (any gaps must be covered)
- Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Valid CVIT SIA licence desirable; if held you will receive a £1,000 bonus after the probationary period. If not, training programme available
- Conscientious driving with full adherence to the Highway Code at all times
- Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to provide a traceable 10‑year work and education history, and complete criminal record and credit background checks
- Salary: £35,766.10 per annum + paid overtime + company bonus scheme
- Joining bonus: £1,000 after probation if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
- 45‑hour contract with weekend work on rota basis and paid breaks (11.25 hours, 4 days per week)
