Pertemps is recruiting Postal Delivery Drivers in Tonbridge for Royal Mail on a temporary basis. Starting towards the end of October, the position pays £13.69 per hour, with 30 to 40 hours each week. Shifts run Monday to Friday plus weekends, scheduled between 8am and 8pm. Duties begin at the local delivery office, where drivers sort and load mail before heading out.
A handheld device supports route navigation and signature capture. Letters and parcels are delivered on foot or by vehicle, covering as much as eight miles daily, and mail bags must be lifted and carried. Applicants need customer service skills, physical fitness and the ability to work independently outdoors.

About the Role:
Pertemps is proud to support Royal Mail in recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers across Tonbridge. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working independently outdoors, this is the perfect role for you!
- Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
- Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
- Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
- Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
- Use delivery trolleys when required
- Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
