Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in the Rhondda region.

This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a rewarding industry, supporting pupils in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes. Candidates with experience working with children, support workers, or voluntary work in education or care sectors are encouraged to apply. Training and development opportunities will be provided to enhance your skills further.

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include supervising pupils in a safe and engaging manner, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. You will work closely with teaching staff and support pupils' individual needs, especially those with special educational needs. A patient, understanding, and team-oriented approach is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in working with children and a good understanding of safeguarding procedures. Experience in SEN or caring roles is desirable, along with a proactive work ethic and the ability to support the learning environment positively. This position is suitable for graduates, support workers, or those seeking to transition into the education sector.
