Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in children’s lives?

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Tonypandy on a full‑time basis. Situated at the heart of the local community, our school is proud of the strong relationships we have built with pupils, families, and the wider community, creating a warm and supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to succeed.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils, supporting learning across the primary age range, with a particular focus on Early Years. You will play a key role in helping children develop their confidence, independence, and love of learning through engaging, play‑based experiences that support their individual needs and development.

• Has previous experience working within a primary school, ideally with a Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Has a strong understanding of Early Years education and child development.
• Demonstrates experience in supporting learning through play and creating engaging learning opportunities.
• Can show children that learning can be fun!
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers.
• Is nurturing, patient, and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.
• Can work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
