Teaching Assistant - Pupil Referral Unit

Following a very successful year working with SEND schools across South Wales, Vetro Education are now looking for a large number of specialist Teaching Assistants in the Rhondda Cynon Taf LEA.

Vetro Education has been approached by a Pupil Referral Unit in Tonypandy following a referral from a long‑standing SEND school in the same LEA. We are keen to speak to Teachers and Teaching Assistants experienced in a PRU setting who would be interested in supporting the school on a long term, short term or ad‑hoc basis.

One qualification that would be extremely advantageous (and essential in some cases) is Team Teach training.

Vetro Education is working with SEND schools on a weekly basis and these schools regularly require staff booked on block/long‑term bookings as well as more casual schedules (flexible hours are available).

• Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) – ability to obtain a new one
• References covering the last three years (no gaps)
• EWC registration (School support worker)
