• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Professional, dependable, positive attitude, good judgment and ability to lead a high‑performing pharmacy team.
• Self‑motivated, organized, able to prioritize, plan and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and stellar customer‑service skills.
• Excellent communication skills with leaders and peers.
• Completion of national and/or state registration, certification or license as required.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.

• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Current national and/or state registration, certification or license as required.
• Assistance to pharmacists in all responsibilities except those needing professional judgment.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hires and support pharmacy associates on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Encourage, monitor and assist new technicians through the training program.
• Lead by example and delegate to ensure department standards are met.
• Serve as the primary representative for store‑wide meetings and huddles.
• Help create and manage scheduling and station rotation for hourly staff.
• Complete the PIC Assistant process walk.
• Prepare for offsite business‑to‑business clinics (biometric screenings, vaccinations) to support pharmacists.
• Oversee inventory management, reconciles orders, returns, and physical inventory preparation.
• Act as pharmacy safety subject‑matter expert, recognize and coach on correct practices.
• Enforce sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations and report illegal activity.
• Administer immunizations where applicable by state law.
• Willing and able to perform all essential job functions of a senior certified technician.
• Perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
