Assist in the design and/or merchandising of floral items and arrangements for display or sale, and respond to customer requests. Provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Design and create floral arrangements and other items to fulfill customer orders.
• Arrange merchandise, maintain proper signage, product rotation, and freshness.
• Package orders safely, efficiently and keep the department organized.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting items, handle telephone calls and orders with courtesy.
• Operate cash register and make change in accordance with company procedures.
• Keep floors, tools and supplies clean, safe and free from clutter.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and applicable laws.

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, product labels and training materials.
• Multi‑task, set priorities and present information professionally.
• Personal initiative, follow through and work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices and safety.

• Dependability and integrity in past work record.
• Experience in grocery retail, customer service and cash register operation.
• Ability to design and create floral arrangements and deliver excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
