Our company is looking for heavy equipment diesel mechanics. We have an almost unlimited amount of work, with associated overtime available. No evening, night, or weekend work required but is available.
Jobs are performed at our shop and customer's locations.
** Remote work may be available DOE *
- Repairs heavy equipment engine and components
- Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components
- Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts
- Orders replacement parts, ensuring that parts orders are correct and complete at the time of order
- Tests, measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components
- Diagnoses and Repairs machine and engine malfunctions and failures
- Ability to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)
- Prepares inspection and appraisal reports
- Correctly charges work to appropriate work order segments
- Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns in on time
- Communicates effectively with Operations Manager, and/or Shop Manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed up on
- Works in a cooperative manner with other co-workers to accomplish the goals of the shop and the company
- Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems
- Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements

QualificationsExperience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- CDL Preferred, but not required
