As a Technician Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are properly displayed, ready for customer test drives, and maintained to the highest standards. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the dealership by providing support to the sales team and ensuring the lot is safe and well-organized.
Responsibilities- Organize and maintain the dealership lot to ensure vehicles are properly displayed.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean and presentable, ready for customer test drives and deliveries.
- Assist customers by moving and retrieving vehicles, ensuring they are promptly ready for viewing or test drives.
- Maintain the appearance of the dealership lot, keeping it free of debris and well-lit for safety.
- Assist with vehicle inventory management and tracking.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure vehicles are properly prepared for customer pick-up.
- Transport vehicles to and from the service department as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and supporting the sales team in various tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and dealership policies to ensure the smooth operation of the lot.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an automotive or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
