Kansas Children's Service League is looking to hire a full-time Oasis Case Manager in Topeka, KS. This position earns a competitive wage starting at $19.23 per hour and works a Monday - Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

Job Summary

The Oasis Case Manager is responsible for providing intensive in‑home case management services to parents and their youth who are at‑risk of becoming further involved with the juvenile justice system due to substance use, truancy or other behavioral issues at school, mental health concerns, and parent/child conflict. The Oasis Case Manager completes assessment information, an individualized family service plan and makes referrals to community resources that will accentuate strengths as well as address needs.

After hours rotation for on‑call crisis and emergency situation for clients. After hours is defined from 5pm‑8am Monday‑Friday and all‑day Saturday and Sunday.

Essential Job Functions Assessment Activities
  • Assess child and family utilizing interview and standardized assessments and complete an individualized family service plan with family
  • Meets with family and child and gathers information from family members and collaterals for the development of the service plan
Case Management Activities
  • Provides case management services to the family to maintain the children in their homes
  • Continuously assessing progress and identifying areas of need compromising the child’s ability to remain in the home
  • Assists family in managing crisis situations due to financial, psychological, legal, medical or any other circumstances that present a danger to youth’s well‑being
Community Liaison
  • Keep referral sources and family resource outlets informed of program
Education & Experience
Required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 or more years related work experience
Preferred
  • 2 or more years related work experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human services
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
