Position: Dental Lab Technician III (Ceramist)

Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. At NDX Heumann Topeka located in Topeka, KS, we are seeking a Dental Lab Technician III (Ceramist).

Regular hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a full‑time position subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentists.
  • Build to correct contour, blend, and occlusion.
  • Complete cases according to work ticket schedule and notify supervisor of late cases.
  • Scan and initially evaluate cases as required.
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities

Required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Average dexterity as determined by analysis.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Make decisions within the role involving deviations from standard operating procedures, addressing them with the immediate supervisor or department head. This includes the rejection of late cases and those not meeting standards. Use discretion for ordering supplies and safety equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
  • High‑school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for long durations of time.
  • Produce cases according to fixed time schedules and required number of units.
