Position: Full-Time OBGYN | The University of Kansas Health System at St. Francis Women's Center in Topeka

The University of Kansas Health System is expanding and seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join the dynamic team at our St. Francis Women’s Center in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. About this OBGYN Position:
  • Join an established group of 5 physicians, 1 advanced practice provider and 3 certified nurse midwives and support staff.
  • Traditional clinic and inpatient.
  • Call 1:5 with weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with one day off during the week.
  • Clinical practice is next to the hospital, and the 2nd clinic is located >8 miles away.
  • Daily Patient Load:
    Clinical 4 patients per hour;
    Inpatient variable.
  • Excess Call Pay.
  • Off Post Call Day.
  • DaVinci Robot, general laparoscopic, Myosure, hysteroscopy, Novasure endometrial ablation.
  • 3 full time sonographers, labs available in office, non‑stress tests in office.
  • Hormone replacement therapy.
  • EMR:
    Epic.
  • Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work‑life balance and revenue.
Support and Procedural Details:
  • Clinic days: 2 full days of clinic, 1 day call and inpatient rounding, and 1 day for surgery.
  • Procedures – in office: LEEP, colposcopy cryotherapy, in‑office hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions.
  • Surgical procedures:
    All Gynecological related procedures.
  • KU MF M located in the same building for high‑risk obstetrics referrals.
  • Access to specialty services such as REI, GYN oncology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
  • Labor and delivery unit: 8 labor beds, triage room, and 10 post‑partum rooms with labor and delivery OR on the unit. Level 2 nursery 33 weeks and up.
  • Privileges at 2 hospitals with Level 3 available for 22 weeks and up.
  • 85‑90% of deliveries at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus.

- J‑1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty.

- H‑1B support via the H‑1B lottery.

- O‑1.
