Annuity Specialist

An advisor needs annuity illustrations for a client meeting: inputs clarified, illustrations run and revised, output checked, and the open questions flagged before it goes back. That request lands in front of you, along with several others, and the advisor's case moves forward because you got it right the first time.

This seat sits on one of our sales teams at Magellan Financial in Topeka, Kansas, supporting the independent advisors we partner with. Slow or inaccurate illustrations stall case decisions and eat sales-team time. Your job is to make that support fast, accurate, and useful.

• Take illustration and product requests from advisors and the sales team, get the missing inputs, and run the scenarios.
• Check every output against what's asked, handle revisions, and return materials the advisor can use, calling out anything still unresolved.
• Keep concurrent requests moving without losing accuracy or dropping follow-through.
• Coordinate handoffs to our new-business and contracting colleagues while staying focused on advisor support.
• As your product depth allows: product comparisons, answering advisor product questions, case design, and recommendations.

• If you can run annuity illustrations well today and want to build real knowledge of fixed and fixed-indexed annuity products on live cases, you're a fit.
• If you're already a complete fixed/FIA product expert who can compare carriers, design a sophisticated case, and defend a recommendation, you fit too, and we need you.

Advanced case design and current recommendation capability are great, but not requirements. What we require is effective illustration execution, the ability to get productive at volume quickly, and the capacity to develop.

You learn products on real advisor cases with sales colleagues, not from a module. Broader product and case responsibility follows demonstrated capability and the ability to know when to ask for help. Compensation is matched to the capability and experience you bring, and strong individual contributors build long careers here.

• You can run annuity illustrations effectively and explain how you set up inputs and check your output.
• Accurate case inputs, reliable follow-through, and clear communication with advisors and teammates.
• Five days a week in our Topeka office, Monday through Friday, with a workable commute or relocation plan.
• Preferred: fixed/FIA product expertise, multi-carrier knowledge, case design, and accurate production under volume, including revisions and prioritization.

This is an in-office role; we don't offer a hybrid option. Routine illustrations, revisions, and detailed checking stay part of the work at every level, and growth follows what you demonstrate, not a promise or timetable.
