• The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
• Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited PT Program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist.
• Must obtain CPR certification prior to start
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting
