Early Interventionist – Occupational Therapist

Join Educate Kansas as an Early Interventionist – Occupational Therapist and work with families that include infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. Successful candidates will be located at TARC, Inc. in Topeka, KS. The early interventionist will work as part of a team conducting evaluations, program planning, and caregiver coaching in children’s homes, childcare settings and other community locations.

• Conduct evaluations of children’s developmental status.
• Develop and implement individualized program plans.
• Coach and support caregivers in enhancing child development.
• Collaborate with early childhood special education teachers, physical therapists, social workers, speech‑language therapists, and paraprofessionals.
• Serve as a key member of the Part C early intervention program for families with children birth‑through‑three‑years‑of‑age.

Starting salary: $66,000 per year.
