Systems Administrator – IMI Industrial
The Systems Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Quick Base applications used throughout the company. This role is responsible for developing, administering, and optimizing Quick Base solutions to support manufacturing operations, business processes, and data‑driven decision‑making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems administration and a deep understanding of Quick Base platform capabilities.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead administrator and internal expert for all Quick Base applications used within the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain Quick Base apps, tables, dashboards, reports, and user interfaces to support operational needs.
- Collaborate with departments including production, quality, logistics, and engineering to streamline workflows and automate manual processes.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and system performance across Quick Base environments.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and system access controls.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation to users across the organization.
- Integrate Quick Base with other internal and third‑party systems.
- Monitor application usage, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system errors promptly.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects by building custom apps or enhancements.
- Stay up‑to‑date with Quick Base platform updates and best practices to optimize performance and scalability.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and department managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of hands‑on Quick Base development and administration experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Expert‑level knowledge of Quick Base formulas, pipelines, permissions, and data modeling.
- Proficient in database concepts and data analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and people skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional integrity.
- Able to execute on multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read computer screens, email and talk on the phone.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
- Ability to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
- Professional and deadline‑oriented environment in an office setting.
- Interaction with team members and clients in both remote and on‑site locations.
- Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
