The Director of Business Technology will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and lead a team responsible for business technology (software development), architecture, and shared services. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for the Bank's application portfolio, software development lifecycle, technology architecture, and technology innovation initiatives. The Director will partner closely with business and technology leaders to ensure technology solutions align with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and member experience objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Lead software development, architecture, and shared services teams
• Drive application modernization, digital transformation, and technology innovation
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align solutions with strategic priorities and member needs
• Evaluate and advance emerging technologies, including AI, cloud, automation, and modern development platforms
• Strengthen software delivery, architecture, production support, reliability, and operational performance
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement

• 10+ years of progressive IT and business experience leading complex, cross-functional teams
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience within full lifecycle development environments
• Experience with modern architectures, including cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven systems
• Proven success leading application modernization, transformation, and software delivery initiatives
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate technology into clear business outcomes
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies while balancing innovation, risk, regulatory requirements, and cost
• Experience with Agile methodologies;
  Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  knowledge is highly desirable
• Experience operating in complex, regulated environments
