QA Engineer

Help us reimagine how millions of people interact with technology as our newest QA Engineer in Topeka, KS. A $41,000 - $65,000 QA Engineer role for a self-starter who wants ownership, collaboration, and a genuine path forward.

• Translate a napkin idea from Civic Innovation Lab founders into an Appium oddball-friendly prototype
• Ship the results-oriented Attention Management features that move Civic Innovation Lab's technology roadmap forward
• Replace the brittle Browser Stack hack with a JIRA solution that survives Topeka scale
• Mentor the junior cohort through their first real Load Runner on-call at Civic Innovation Lab
• Lead the Attention Management migration that finally retires Civic Innovation Lab's results-oriented legacy stack
• Map data flow across Civic Innovation Lab's JIRA services and spot the leaks
• Spot the agile JIRA anti-pattern in review before it spreads through Civic Innovation Lab

• Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
• Flexibility to adapt your approach as business needs evolve
• Willingness to commute to Topeka, KS or work flexibly as needed
• Hands-on proficiency with BDD, ideally paired with Appium
• The humility to revise strong opinions when the data argues back
