Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 (Based on experience)

Job Summary

This role ensures smooth production operations by troubleshooting and improving control systems and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley Control Logix & Guard Logix), HMIs (Wonderware, Panel View)
  • Work with plant floor electrical, control, and pneumatic systems including:
  • Flex IO/Point IO, instrumentation (flow meters, sensors, detectors)
  • Act as a technical resource for maintenance and operations teams
  • Train personnel on electrical and controls systems
  • Document hardware/software changes, backup control systems
  • Ensure compliance with Hill’s Safety Policy and NEC standards

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of plant technical experience, or 3+ years with a 2-year technical degree
  • Strong skills in ladder logic programming (including AOI blocks and sequencer logic)
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of 3-phase 480V, 120V, and 24V AC/DC control circuits
  • Willingness to work different shifts and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL databases
  • Ability to create or modify CAD drawings

Ideal Candidate

  • Willing to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed
  • Local to Kansas or open to relocating
  • Team player with a passion for maintenance and automation
