Pay Range

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Why This Role Matters

We’re seeking someone who knows their way around precision measurement tools
, understands GD&T and blueprint interpretation, and can mentor a team of experienced inspectors while learning the nuances of our parts, machines, and processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, schedule, and support a team of 3 Quality Inspectors
    .
  • Perform and oversee inspections using micrometers, calipers, precision gages, CNC inspection equipment, and 3D scanning (Creaform).
  • Interpret blueprints
    , technical drawings, and GD&T requirements—teaching and reinforcing best practices across the shop.
  • Partner with machinists, tool setters, engineers, and assembly teams (~35–40 shop employees).
  • Assist with documentation, data tracking, and reporting in Excel
    , SAP or similar ERP.
  • Maintain and support our quality management system (
    ISO 9001:2015
    ) and internal processes.
  • Be a “sponge”—learning our parts, machines, inspection equipment, and shop culture from the ground up before making changes.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety, and lean practices.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, dial indicators).
  • Fluency in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
    .
  • Experience supervising inspectors or leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • A background in machining, tool setting, dimensional inspection, or fabrication is a huge plus.
  • Comfort with digital tooling, CNC inspection systems, and learning new software.
  • Strong Excel skills for measurement data, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ability to work onsite, full-time: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
