As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Responsibilities- Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents while ensuring all resident rights are protected.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Check all residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
- Keep the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
- Implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, obtaining blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established.
- Complete all required RN record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, discharge, transfer, etc.; file in the resident’s chart or forward to appropriate department.
- Give and receive nursing reports upon shift hand‑over.
- Investigate complaints and grievances, reporting orally/written to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
- Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
- Adhere to our policies and standards.
