Job Title:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are looking for the best Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!
Responsibilities- Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of residents and ensuring all resident rights are protected.
- Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
- Checking all residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and evaluating their physical and emotional status.
- Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.
- Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Administering professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies.
- Completing all LPN-required record‑keeping forms/charts upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc., filing in resident charts or forwarding to the appropriate department.
- Giving and receiving nursing reports on shift changes.
- Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Presenting a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech.
- Adhering to our policies and standards.
- Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- A caring & loving personality and demeanor.
- Leadership and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
