PrimaryJob Function
- Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
- Obtain a history and physical exam.
- Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR, or write a buprenorphine prescription.
- Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
- Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
- Work early morning hours, with flexibility to work at other sites if needed.
- Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.
- Six‑months to 1‑year of MAT/addiction medicine treatment experience required.
- Will accept ANCC or AANP certification.
- Must pass a satisfactory drug screen and background check.
