Join Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our residential treatment facility for children with mental/behavioral health concerns.
Job SummaryAs an LPN at Pathway Family Services, you will provide direct physical and emotional support to children in residential treatment, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, perform assessments, coordinate medication management, conduct nursing education groups, and consult with care staff and physicians.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care and support to children in a 24/7 residential treatment setting.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and coordinate medication management.
- Lead nursing education groups for residents and families.
- Consult with direct care staff and physicians regarding residents’ physical wellbeing.
- Respond to physical wellness concerns and emergencies.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 21 years of age and at least 3 years older than the oldest resident.
- Valid Kansas driver’s license, valid insurance, and ability to transport clients in agency or personal vehicle.
- Eligibility for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing.
- Compassionate, trauma‑informed approach, and commitment to building families’ strengths.
- Experience in residential or behavioral health settings preferred.
In‑office position with flexible scheduling coordinated with the Lead Nurse and facility administration to cover 24/7 needs.
Compensation- Average hourly rate: $29.96/hour (includes wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)
