Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: April 6, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Weekend schedule:
Sunday-Friday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts). Call requirements include one weeknight shift (7:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and three overnight call shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Monday through Thursday. This is a 13-week assignment.

• Level II Trauma Center offering diverse surgical case experience including routine, urgent, and trauma procedures
• Strong circulator role with involvement in both pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Epic EMR system in use
• Overtime available after 48 scheduled hours
• Fast-paced environment ideal for experienced OR nurses ready to make an immediate impact

• Current Kansas RN license (required prior to start date)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Previous travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers
• Proven ability to function independently and adapt quickly to new environments
• Strong circulating nurse skills with experience in a variety of surgical cases
