Product Demonstrator Part Time (R 8176)
Product Connections, a division of Acosta Group, is seeking a Part‑Time Product Demonstrator. The Associate will complete in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, maintain product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down products and supplies, and engage consumers professionally.
Pay Rate
: $15.00/hr.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and positively sell product to consumers.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient personal computer or mobile device skills, including internal systems applications.
- Local food handler permit may be required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart, climb ladders, and perform tasks up to 65 inches overhead.
- Proactive, positive interpersonal communication skills.
- English proficient; bilingual skills may be required.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push/pull a fully loaded demonstration cart, prepare foods using appliances, and come into contact with cleaning supplies. Work environment is a retail store with limited travel.
No supervisory responsibilities.
