Position Purpose

Directly responsible for achieving distribution and sales objectives in assigned CDK on and off-premise accounts as well as chain stores. Direct the sales activities, training, and productivity of seven on/off-premise and chain store pre-sales representatives. Oversee the sales performance of all CDK products in assigned retail licensed accounts while maintaining quality standards and reaching sales goals.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Grow Crown Distributors business profitably within the assigned 4-route territory by hitting and exceeding sales and distribution goals for all CDK Suppliers.
• Motivate, train, develop, discipline, and direct assigned personnel by working with them on a weekly basis to evaluate their performance for the purpose of growing profitable sales volume and increasing product distribution.
• Make recommendations and work with the General Sales Manager to develop goals, incentives, training programs, and plans to achieve sales objectives for all CDK brands. Monitor and track sales execution towards those sales objectives and incentive plans.
• Develop and maintain sound retail relations by establishing a sales call program to ensure maximum sales and achievement of set goals and objectives in key accounts as well as establishing a periodic sales call program for all assigned accounts.
• Ensure that all CDK products are represented at retail in line with Supplier Standards. Initiate marketing concepts for all CDK brands and stress point-of-sale placements, proper shelf position, maximum display execution, and price and ad feature activity.
• Ensure that all CDK personnel are complying with CDK Quality Assurance standards by establishing an effective and continuous quality assurance program and by monitoring each salesperson’s route on a monthly basis.
