Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician to repair and maintain heavy‑duty Class 7–8 trailers, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include air brakes, 90‑BIT, and DOT inspections and repairs.
Compensation
:
Competitive hourly pay of $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly every Friday.
Potential sign‑on bonus up to $2,500.
Shift
:
Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (2nd shift).

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty Class 7–8 trailers, dollies, and switchers.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on Class 7–8 trailers.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician, or an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
- Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
