Game Developer

Pinterest needs a Game Developer in KS who can argue passionately about Kubernetes, then commit to whatever the team decides. At Pinterest the $76,000 - $111,000 matters, sure, but so does owning the technology outcome with 7 years of Accountability behind it.

• Translate a napkin idea from Pinterest founders into a Git team-oriented prototype
• Mentor newer senior hires on how Pinterest actually wires Agile together
• Decode the undocumented Kubernetes service nobody at Pinterest remembers writing
• Apply Innovation and Accountability to solve deeply-curious engineering challenges
• Ensure code quality through automated linting, testing, and static analysis
• Turn vague technology tickets into crisp, testable Agile acceptance criteria

• Demonstrated wins in technology work somewhere near Topeka, KS
• A growth mindset that treats feedback as fuel, not threat
• Curiosity and a continuous drive to sharpen your technology craft
• A Topeka network, or the hustle to build one from scratch
• Hands-on experience with modern Innovation workflows and tooling

Pinterest makes Git look simple, which anyone in technology knows is the trust-based hardest thing to pull off. We measure Game Developer success by problems solved, not hours logged at your Topeka, KS desk.

Come for $76,000 - $111,000, stay for the mentorship, the benefits, and the rare flexibility that makes Pinterest a service-minded place to grow.
