Our client, a large publicly tradedpany, is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team.

Your new role

The Senior Auditor will play a key role in executing internal audits, evaluating the effectiveness of controls, and ensuringpliance withpany policies and regulations. This position involves identifying operational risks, documenting findings, and rmending improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The role also includes tracking the implementation of corrective actions, supporting investigations and advisory projects, and promoting awareness of internal control standards across the organization.

Additionally, the Senior Auditor will collaborate with teams to drive operational enhancements and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the Senior Internal Auditor role, you will need to have a university degree and CPA designation, with at least three years of experience in internal auditing or operational controls. Additional certifications such as CIA, CFE, or CISA are considered beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential, and familiarity with systems like Workday or Cognos, is preferred.

Candidates must be eligible to work and travel across Canada and the U.S., with approximately 30% travel required, and hold a valid driver’s license for site visits.
