Base pay range: CA $40.00/hr - CA $50.00/hr

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract basis
. This opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on, full‑cycle accountant with 5+ years of experience who enjoys owning the numbers and working closely with the business.

This is a hybrid role based in Toronto
, offering flexibility while maintaining meaningful in‑office collaboration.

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for full‑cycle accounting and play a key role in month‑end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

• Full‑cycle accounting including AR, AP, general ledger, and payroll support
• Month‑end and year‑end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
• Assist with system and process improvements

• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• CPA or CPA‑track preferred
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close and financial reporting
• Systems‑savvy with ERP and accounting software experience
• Strong attention to detail with solid communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
