We are seeking a motivated Accountant to support our finance operations with full-cycle accounting, construction cost tracking, financial reporting, and compliance. You’ll help ensure financial accuracy across projects and corporate operations while working closely with project managers, operations, and leadership.

• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support internal reporting and external audits.

• Track and allocate costs to individual construction projects.
• Generate project-specific financial reports and assist with project budgeting and variance analysis.
• Monitor labour, materials, subcontractor costs, and overhead to ensure projects remain on budget.
• Prepare timely financial reports for senior leadership and support audit processes.
• Assist with tax filings (HST, payroll, etc.) and ensure compliance with accounting standards/regulations.
• Support cash flow forecasting and help identify financial risks or opportunities.

• Work with project managers and operations to clarify financial assumptions, cost allocations, and budget revisions.
• Contribute to improvements in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and accounting controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working toward CPA) is an asset.

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or project-based industries.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Yardi, etc.).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
