Payroll Coordinator/Accounts Payable Clerk
Are you a highly motivated, dedicated, and driven individual? If you answered yes to all three, then you are the right person to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator / Accounts Payable Clerk

The successful hire will be responsible for supporting payroll functions, processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and employees. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking and problem-solving. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position supporting a high-volume dealership.
Responsibilities Payroll Coordination- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for dealership staff
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, and payroll adjustments
- Maintain payroll-related records and employee information with confidentiality
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits
- Support HR and accounting teams with payroll reports and reconciliations
- Process and post vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Prepare and process cheque runs, EFTs, and other payment methods
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure payments are made within terms
- Assist with month-end close by preparing reconciliations and reports
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for invoices payments
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues

- Over 3 years of experience in payroll or accounting roles in retail or manufacturing industry
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Highly efficient and possess exceptional organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Excel & MS Office applications
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Knowledge of retail automotive dealership accounting procedures
- Experience with ADP for payroll and Automotive Dealership software (Reynolds & Reynolds preferred)
