Regional Accountant

Our client, a well-established and growing real estate development and rental organization, is seeking a Regional Accountant, on a 6-month contract, to support a diverse portfolio of development and income‑producing properties.

This role offers strong exposure to project accounting, joint ventures, budgeting, and board‑level reporting, making it an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to deepen their real‑estate expertise within a stable, sophisticated organization.

Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, this role will partner closely with the Real Estate Team and Corporate Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, budget oversight, and operational support for a designated regional portfolio.

This is a hands‑on role combining financial analysis, transactional oversight, and business partnering.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Month-end, Quarter-end accounting/
• Assist with Budgeting & Corporate Planning
• Payment Administration
• Revenue Monitoring

• 5+years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate or land development accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis)
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is an asset
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support cross‑functional teams
