Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Hire Loft Recruitment is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in downtown Toronto that urgently requires a strong Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (2-3 month contract) to stabilize and own the AP function.

This is not a basic data-entry AP role. This is a hands-on, high-accountability position where ownership, attention to detail, and urgency matter.

• Own the full Accounts Payable cycle in Net Suite
• Review, validate, and process high-volume vendor invoices
• Perform detailed vendor reconciliations and aging analysis
• Proactively investigate discrepancies and elevate risks
• Communicate directly with vendors to resolve outstanding balances
• Ensure all approvals, coding, and documentation are accurate
• Support month-end close related to AP and accruals
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation

• 5+ years of AP experience, ideally in multi-entity environments
• Strong hands‑on Net Suite experience is required
• Ability to step in with minimal training
• Strong reconciliation and investigative mindset
• High accountability and ownership mentality
• Comfortable working fully onsite in downtown Toronto

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and protect the integrity of the AP function immediately.
