As a Tax Specialist, you will collaborate with senior managers to deliver high-quality tax solutions for a diverse client portfolio. This role requires you to participate in planning projects, preparing tax returns, and identifying tax planning opportunities. You will also communicate effectively with the Canada Revenue Agency to address client inquiries and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with tax planning projects and owner-manager strategies

• Research complex tax issues and draft technical memos

• Review corporate and personal tax returns for clients

• Identify planning opportunities, communicating with senior management

• Support GST/HST compliance and engage with CRA audits

Requirements:

• CPA designation or nearing completion required

• Enrollment in CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, firm-sponsored

• 2–4 years of public accounting experience in tax compliance

• Proficiency in Canadian tax preparation software

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
