About the FirmA well-established mid-sized public accounting firm in Scarborough is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its growing team. With over 70 years of serving clients across the GTA, the firm provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to owner-managed businesses and individuals.

The Opportunity As Accounting Manager, you will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and incorporated professionals while acting as a key client advisor and relationship manager.

You will play a hands-on leadership role in reviewing engagements, supporting tax planning and advisory work, guiding staff, and contributing to the continued growth and improvement of the practice.

This role offers strong exposure to both compliance and advisory work, with direct involvement alongside the Partners.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of small business and professional clients as their primary advisor and relationship manager
* Review financial statements and corporate/personal tax returns prepared by the team
* Identify tax planning opportunities and liaise with the CRA on client matters
* Lead, mentor, and support staff while managing workflows, deadlines, and engagement quality
* Support business development initiatives and client relationship growth
* Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of technology, automation, and AI tools
* Assist Partners with tax, advisory, and consulting engagements### What We're Looking For
* CPA designation preferred
* 7+ years of public accounting experience
* Strong experience reviewing corporate and personal tax engagements in Canada
* Experience with Case Ware and Tax Prep considered an asset
* Strong client relationship, communication, and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
