Position: Accountant Role in Montreal
Sia Partners is hiring an Accountant to enhance financial processes for US entities from either Montreal or Toronto. This full-time role prioritizes accurate transactional accounting and compliance.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of processing invoices and managing accounts payable while supporting month-end financial closes. Your skills in navigating ERP systems and understanding US accounting practices will contribute significantly to maintaining accuracy in financial operations. Collaboration with other departments will yield improvements in internal controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and execute payments timely

• Support month-end close activities and maintain records

• Perform accounts payable and bank reconciliations

• Manage vendor inquiries and set up processes

• Assist with audits and ensure compliance accuracy

Requirements:

• Mandatory experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)

• Deep understanding of US accounting practices

• Strong attention to detail and driven ownership

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
